PSYC 102 Introduction to Social Psychology

This course is designed to acquaint the student with the nature and causes of individual behavior in social situations; to identify the factors that shape feelings, behavior and thought. The topics to be covered include: the research methods of social psychology, social perception, social cognition, attitudes, prejudice/discrimination, interpersonal attraction, social influence, aggression, individual behavior in groups, and applications of social psychology in health, the legal system and the work setting (organizations). Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 6.
