POLS 101 Introduction to Political Science I

This course explains the nature of political science and its basic concepts including power, legitimacy, authority and choice. The development of modern nation-state; fundamental of the classical and contemporary ideologies; policy-making role of the state; relationship between the state and the citizen; democratic and non-democratic governments and constitutional design of government are also covered. Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5.
