AMER 492 Gender Studies in American Culture

This course offers an introduction to the critical role that gender has played in the structure of American society. It examines theories of gender and society as they have evolved in recent years. Students consider how feminism and other gender-sensitive critical practices help us to understand problems in U.S. society. Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5, Prerequisite: AMER 304 or AMER 358.
