This course examines some of these movements, including the revolutionary, antislavery, labor, women's rights, racial justice, and antiwar movements, in an effort to analyze the relationship between movements and social transformation. Through primary and secondary readings, film screenings, and course discussions, participants will develop an appreciation for how local, national, and international movements for change have shaped the course of American history. Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5, Prerequisite: AMER 303 or AMER 357.
