|
The focus here is on perception, specifically visual perception. This is the part of cognitive psychology, where we know more than any other area about the brain's involvement. Thus, studying perception, and specifically vision, tells us much about the rest of our cognitive capacities. Main topics covered are physiological structure of vision, modularity, attentional influences, spatial vision, color vision, perceptual learning, categorical perception, and motion perception.
