Students understand the importance and the role of the translator presenting images in books or movies to the target culture and the related team work. Students can define the concept of localisation and understand translation practice into different cultural and linguistic systems.
Good knowledge of technology is required for the localisation course. It will be necessary to apply many software to localisation. Students will do practical work to determine the place of the translator in localisation projects.
Credit units: 4 ECTS Credit units: 6.5.
