TRIN 228 French Culture and Civilisation

The aim of the course is to introduce French culture and civilisation via texts and speeches. Various text types will be analysed to create awareness about shifting from source culture to target culture. Comparative studies will be carried out in order to be successful in translation applications. It will be based on current culturel events and texts. Selected examples from historical literary and daily life habits will be examined.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5.
