Major debates related to the notions of identity and subjectivity in contemporary visual and cultural studies. Drawing upon various theoretical and methodological frameworks, emphasis on how identity and subjectivity can be conceived in relation to the concepts of space, memory, belonging, hybridity and migrancy in contemporary global culture.
