Critical review of history of conservation, its origins, concepts, and shifting approaches; examination of contemporary debates and challenges related to interventions in architectural, urban, rural, and landscape heritage across different geographical contexts; investigation of multiple meanings, values, and decision-making processes that shape heritage practice today, with particular attention to current political, economic, social, cultural, and environmental dynamics.
