CI 541 Motivation in the Classroom

The course focuses on theories of motivation and their application to educational settings. It reviews research about the influence of learners' personal characteristics on their motivation and learning as well as research about the influence of the learning environment on learners' motivation. The relation between motivation for learning and quality of learning is widely discussed throughout the course.
