In this course, students will be able to aware the need for accounting records and reports and the basic principles underlying the accounting cycle and preparation of financial statements. Emphasis is given to accounting as an aid to managerial decision making. In addition, topics such as budgeting, funds flow and the basics of cost accounting are discussed.
