IR 305 International Organizations

A comprehensive study of the development of international organization and its role in the contemporary world. The central part of the course deals with the United Nations, its structure, performance and prospects, both in the maintenance of peace and in the economic and social field. Then specialized agencies and the regional organizations are treated on a descriptive basis.
