ECON 576 Monetary Economics II

This course is designed to explore the short-run monetary transmission mechanism, mainly within the context of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models. Also "monetary policy rules", which dominated the literature on monetary economics in the last decade are widely studied, with a clear emphasis on open economy models.
