ECON 477 Economics of Disruptive Technologies

This course aims to teach key economic concepts such as Schumpeter's creative destruction, applications and the economic and social implications of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. Students will explore the intersection of economics, technology, and policy, focusing on the transformative effects of disruptive technologies on economic growth, industries, labor markets, and society as a whole.

ECON 206 or ECON 207.
