ECON 410 Contemporary Issues in Turkish Economy II

A problem solving-based investigation of the contemporary socio-economic problems of the Turkish economy with a special focus on the post-2000 period. Development of project-based resolutions to the current problems of Turkey requiring a good sense of defining problems and generating workable policy proposals. To tackle with a number of issues spanning a wide spectrum of economic areas, participants provided with a strong guidance of scientific method and project development. The problems to be covered, solution approaches and policy perspective of the course emphasizing the concept of change as to society and economy in a global context. Designed to allow participants to reveal and improve their professional toolset as well as communication skills.

ECON 202 or ECON 205.
