ECON 206 Macroeconomic Theory II

This course is the second part of the intermediate macroeconomics sequence and it focuses on micro foundations in order to study macro models. Among the subjects are the consumption and investment theories, inflation and unemployment trade-off, and fiscal and monetary policy design and institutions with regards to open economy macroeconomics, exchange rate models and current account dynamics that are grounded in the intertemporal optimization problem of the representative agent will also be introduced.
