MAN 256 Introduction to Management Science

Management science is the application of mathematical modeling to decision making in various management contexts. This course introduces students to mathematical model construction, spreadsheet modeling using Excel Solver, and interpretation of Solver output. The topics also include other decision making tools such as decision trees and simulation.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5, Prerequisite:
ECON 225 or MATH 227.
