EDEB 607 Modernism in Turkish Literature

This course will deal mainly with the repercussions of political and social aspects of Modernism qua Westernization in the Ottoman and Republican Turkish Literature. But, Modernism as a transformation of literature itself, especially in the field of poetry will also be critically investigated.
