HART 125 Archaeological Illustration

This course provides students with the basic principles and practical skills of archaeological illustration, from the elementary field level, for record purposes, leading up to drawings made to final publication standard. The coursework includes preparing and finishing drawings of the usual range of artefacts recovered during an excavation, such as pottery, metalwork, stonework, and modified animal bone.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5.
