ELIT 453 Trends in British Drama since 1960s

This module is a study of the plays which examines the characteristics of the contemporary British drama since 1960s. Along with the close analysis of the plays that reflect new dramatic trends, paradigms, and formal changes the course aims to probe into the adaptations and audience responses. It covers the theatrical activities from the 1960s to the recent times with the intention of exploring trends in drama together with the political and economic changes in Britain.
