ELIT 424 Problems in the Philosophy of Criticism

Some literary critical problems have implications that cannot be dealt with within literary criticism itself. These require a further discussion of the principals involved in the critical discourse dealing with the problems. Such a discussion will involve general philosophical arguments as well as arguments specifically related to critical discourse. This course will focus on a selection of problems of this type and suggest how they can be dealt with.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5.
