Performance-based studio course for undergraduate voice majors simulating the collaborative environment of operatic production. Preparation and performance of semi-staged opera scenes from contrasting periods of the Western operatic repertoire. Emphasis on stylistic interpretation, ensemble work, stagecraft, memorization, and professional rehearsal practice within a collaborative performance setting.
