Chromaticism: mode mixture and the Neapolitan, augmented-sixth chords, enharmonicism. Further elements of harmonic vocabulary: substitution, alteration, dominant ninth chord, common-tone diminished seventh chord, elements of post-romantic vocabulary and beyond, etc.
