Introduction to humanitarian operations; decision problems related to meeting the ongoing needs of the society; relief logistics; disaster management cycle; decision problems faced in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters; the activities and challenges in the supply chain for the procurement, delivery, warehousing and distribution of the aid; practical examples, projects and case studies.
