The course aligns with the goals and objectives of the Turkish curriculum within the thematically arranged elementary education curriculum. Its primary aim is to provide participants with methods and techniques for fostering phonics, independent reading and writing, and vocabulary skills. The themes covered include virtues, national heritage, rights and freedom, personal development, communication, time and space, science and technology, and emotions.
