Fundamentals of magnetism and magnetic materials, nanoscale magnetism, domains and domain walls, magnetic phases, applications of para-, dia-, ferro-, antiferromagnets, magnetic anisotropy, spin-based electronics (spintronics), ferro/giant/nuclear magnetic resonances (FMR, GMR, and NMR), magnetic recording technology, applied magnetism, biomagnetism and magnetic materials in medicine and biology, magnetic imaging.
