Independent project synthesizing and complementing regular curriculum material. Making project proposals and designing workflows for investigating topics in the areas of mathematical modelling of real life problems, history of outstanding results and/or mathematicians, scientific software based on mathematical results, and remarkable results from articles and monographs. Written and oral communication of mathematics. Fundamentals of mathematical typesetting with LaTeX. Plagiarism and ethical issues. Exploring mathematical resources.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5, Prerequisite:
MATH 214 and MATH 240 and MATH 323.
