Information systems, particularly those dealing with Electronic Business, have become a critical part of the products, services, and management of organizations. The effective and efficient use of information technology is an important element in achieving competitive advantage for business organizations and excellence in service for government and non-profit organizations. This course will not only help the student to gain the ability to develop, implement and manage an infrastructure of information technology, data, and organization-wide systems, but it will also help develop the skills to manage, analyze and develop applications dealing with electronic business. They will also be able to assist in incorporating information technology into the organization's strategy, planning, and practices.
