The course offers a layout that reflects real-world systems analysis skills and techniques within the framework of the systems development life cycle (SDLC). Strategic planning, review of systems requests, and the steps in a preliminary investigation are included in analyzing the business case. Creation of a logical model for the new system by using entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams and process description tools are the basic topics discussed in the enterprise modeling. Microsoft Project, a project management tool, is used to plan, schedule, monitor and manage IT projects.
