BIM 103 Keyboarding

With the proliferation of personal computers and computer workstations, keyboarding proficiency has become an important skill for employees at all levels of an organization, and is of immediate value to undergraduate students. This course introduces the touch typewriting system to beginning students. The emphasis is upon developing the correct techniques to achieve speed and accuracy, using a personal computer. By the end of this course, the student will be able to touch type without visual assistance on a standard keyboard.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5.
