POLS 4536 Turkish Politics in Comparative Perspective

This course is a writing and research-intensive course for advanced undergraduates. We will first read cutting edge literature in comparative politics on pressing topics of Turkish politics and then turn to how this topic is studied in Turkish politics. Students will write a research paper throughout the semester that analyzes Turkey comparatively in light of class discussions, consultation with the instructor and feedback from their peers.
Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 5, Prerequisite:
POLS 305 or POLS 306.
