An overview of macroeconomic issues. The concept of the gross national product and its determination. Theories of macroeconomic equilibrium and government policies to effect the gross national product, employment, investment, and foreign trade. Current issues on the ``global economy'', international economic organization and Turkey's role in a changing world macroeconomic environment.
