An analytical study of marketing as a major business function. Topics include an overview of the marketing system, the marketing concept, market research, market analysis, marketing strategies (segmentation, targeting, positioning), and marketing programs. An examination of how effective marketing strategy and program decisions is based on an analysis of buyer behavior, market structure and competition. Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 6.
