PHIL 241 Social and Political Philosophy I

What is to live one's life well? Is there a single true morality? How can we know what is the right and wrong thing to do? Why should I do the right thing? These problems and more are examined through a close reading of influential texts in the history of philosophy. The course is mutually supported by the co-requisite course ENG 241 Sophomore Academic English I. Credit units: 3 ECTS Credit units: 6.
