HART 219 Anatolian Archaeology, Neolithic to the Iron Age

An introduction to the pre- and early historic archaeological heritage of Turkey, from the Early Neolithic (ca. 10.000 BC) to the advanced Iron Age (ca. 500 BC). Besides iconic places like Göbekli Tepe, Troia, Hattusa and Gordion, also less well known arenas of human action and interaction are surveyed.
