MATH 240 Differential Equations

First and second order differential equations, existence and uniqueness of solutions. Linear homogeneous differential equations. Linear nonhomogeneous equations: the methods of undetermined coefficients and variation of parameters, reduction of order. Series solution of second order equations. Systems of first order differential equations. Solution by Laplace transforms. Numerical solution techniques.

MATH 102 or MATH 112 or MATH 114.
