Introduction to experimental methods. Spectroscopy of semiconductors, photoluminescence, Raman scattering. Schottky diode fabrication, current and voltage measurements. Computer based instrument control, and data acquisition. Atomic physics, dye lasers, lasers optogalvanic spectroscopy.
