PHYS 107 Basic Physics I

The course aims to present the basic concepts and laws of mechanics at the level where the relevant mathematics does not require a priori knowledge of calculus. The topics studied include: vectors; translational and rotational kinematics and dynamics of particles and systems; work and energy; collions; harmonic oscillations.
Credit units: 4 ECTS Credit units: 6.5.
